Sinéad’s first two years
12 Jan 2002
Sinéad’s third birthday. She has developed into quite a little girl. She can walk, run, jump, climb, talk, sing, laugh, count, and do so much more. Her vocabulary is innumerable with new words popping up each day. She is very active and enjoys a vivid imagination. She loves playing with other children. She is also using the toilet regularly and only wears diapers while she sleeps at night.
14 Months
Says “uh oh” and “dog” (“dah”).
14 Months
Walks unsupported for substantial distances.

Sinéad can crawl up the stairs.
04 Mar 2000
Sinéad can crawl down the stairs.
18 Mar 2000
Sinéad’s upper left first molar came in.
27 Feb 2000
Sinéad’s upper right first molar came in.
20 Feb 2000
Sinéad’s lower left first molar came in.
12.5 Months
Sinéad can crawl off furniture such as the bed and the couch.
25 Jan 2000
Sinéad’s lower right first molar came in – the first tooth in almost four months.
23 Jan 2000
Sinéad started crawling. This surprised Mama & Papa because they were sure she would walk first – she is walking very well around the furniture and walls.
12 Jan 2000
Sinéad started eating solids. To date (12Feb2000) she’s had banana, rice cake, avocado, sweet potato, applesauce, millet, pear sauce, and distilled water.
Sinéad celebrated her first birthday. She had friends over as well as her Uncle Sam and Grandma Golbeck.
11 to 11.5 Months
Sinéad waves good-bye, says “bye-bye”, claps, imitates hair brushing, and gets her teeth brushed.

Sinéad walks along the edge of the bed to grab a toy.
06 Nov 1999
Pulls herself to a standing position by using the edge of our bed for support.
05 Oct 1999
Sinéad’s lower left lateral incisor emerges and makes a total of eight teeth.
Sep 1999
Sinéad has a taste of a banana – her first experience with food other than mother’s milk. She still is being exclusively breast-fed. She can pull herself to a standing position if she holds onto someone’s hands.
08 Sep 1999
The second half of the upper lateral incisors joins its twin.
25 Aug 1999
The upper right lateral incisor pokes through.
Jul 1999
Sinéad can sit unsupported for up to three minutes. She can hold a cup. First major trip while outside the womb – to a family reunion in Kelowna, British Columbia.
18 Jul 1999
Three teeth come in – both upper central incisors, and the upper right lateral incisor.
12 Jun 1999
Her lower left central incisor comes in.
10 Jun 1999
Sinéad’s first tooth comes in – lower right central incisor.
01 Apr 1999
Sinéad rolled over from her stomach to her back while laying on the floor.
Mar 1999
Sinéad begins seeign her chiropractor regular to make sure the spinal cord is free from obstruction.
24 Mar 1999
Sinéad laughed out loud. This time it was while she was awake!
09 Mar 1999
Sinéad reached 5100g.
25 Feb 1999
Sinéad reached 4710g and 54.61cm.
08 Feb 1999
Sinéad gave her first laugh. It was while she was sleeping, but it was an unmistakable laugh nonetheless.
07 Feb 1999
Was given a name and a blessing by her father – an ordinance performed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints similar to the practice of christening in some contemporary Christian sects.
28 Jan 1999
Another check-up. Reached 4000g.
22 Jan 1999
received her first Priesthood blessing
19 Jan 1999
Bypassed her birth weight. The community health nurse weighed her in at 3616g.
