- When I look upon her face, I see divinity.
- When I am alone with her, I feel affinity.
- Silver beams caress my face, and blue rays soothen me.
- As she passes sleeping earth, she nods approvingly,
- Gently guiding owl and wolf and ’possum, hare to see.
- Strength and pow’r alone she wields to pull and bear the sea.
- Vacillate ‘tween life and blood in lunar harmony.
- As a mother to the stars, yet watching over me.
