Topsy turvy

  1. Towering trees all veiled with leaves, hanging from the sky
  2. Calming seas with salty breeze in the desert dry
  3. Starry light so dimly bright shining through the ground
  4. Chicken flight of soaring height to the prairies bound
  5. Blazing fire and climbing higher fuelled by frosty ice
  6. Reaching spire up from the mire, and pearls of little price
  7. Oil wipe with water swipe, while darkening of soul
  8. Black and white midst greying stripes, widening the hole.

By Kim Siever

I live in Lethbridge with my spouse and 5 of our 6 children. I’m a writer, focusing on social issues and the occasional poem. My politics are radically left. I recently finished writing a book debunking several capitalism myths. My newest book writing project is on the labour history of Lethbridge.

I’m also dichotomally Mormon. And I’m a functional vegetarian: I have a blog post about that somewhere around here. My pronouns are he/him.
