A client came to me recently asking me to stitch some photos together. The photos ended up as two different files. One was a panoramic view of a city skyline at 28538×2039 pixels. The other was a view of some mountains at 5436×2410 pixels. I burned them to CD for her.<\/p>\n
The next day, she came back asking me to compress them or reduce their dimensions. I asked her why.<\/p>\n
“No one I took them to could print them.”<\/p>\n
“Who did you take them to?”<\/p>\n
“Walmart. Costco. …”<\/p>\n
