{"id":2927,"date":"2011-10-09T23:03:17","date_gmt":"2011-10-09T23:03:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/siever.ca\/kim\/?p=2927"},"modified":"2017-08-01T20:48:03","modified_gmt":"2017-08-01T20:48:03","slug":"a-harvest-of-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/siever.ca\/kim\/2011\/10\/09\/a-harvest-of-love\/","title":{"rendered":"A Harvest of Love"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol class=\"poem\">\n<li>All alone, yet there he was, knelt beside another.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking soft, touching slight, trying not to be a bother.<\/li>\n<li>Reaching out, screams of pain, in a way he felt so distant.<\/li>\n<li class=\"stanza-end\">Carry on, hold on more, it\u2019s but another instant<\/li>\n<li>Hours drag on, the dusk is gone, and dawn begins to rise<\/li>\n<li>The stars now sleep, the birds now peep, and pinks now fill the sky.<\/li>\n<li>The sun wakes up, the earth warms up, the snow begins to melt<\/li>\n<li class=\"stanza-end\">It isn\u2019t long b\u2019fore the waited song amongst the two is felt.<\/li>\n<li>Years gone by. Sorrow, loss, and longing often lived<\/li>\n<li>Within the hearts, beside the souls, without a want or give.<\/li>\n<li>But now the time is quickly here and all these flee away<\/li>\n<li class=\"stanza-end\">Replaced with joy and peace and love, all which plan to stay.<\/li>\n<li>And then it\u2019s gone, the pain, the work, and all the world seems still<\/li>\n<li>With all else now just leaving home, the two embrace their thrill.<\/li>\n<li>And now when two were once made three, and three were then made two.<\/li>\n<li>There stood again the two now three, and three with life anew.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All alone, yet there he was, knelt beside another.
