{"id":3156,"date":"2017-09-05T15:33:53","date_gmt":"2017-09-05T21:33:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/siever.ca\/kim\/?p=3156"},"modified":"2017-09-05T15:42:35","modified_gmt":"2017-09-05T21:42:35","slug":"golden-falls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/siever.ca\/kim\/2017\/09\/05\/golden-falls\/","title":{"rendered":"Golden Falls"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol class=\"poem\">\n<li>The bellowed roar of golden falls has since become a drop<\/li>\n<li>That echoes through the empty cave that once filled to the top,<\/li>\n<li>Then rainbows pierced the cavern walls and drained the lake near dry.<\/li>\n<li>And now the houred drip can\u2019t fill the empty storeys high.<\/li>\n<li>But through the holes left in the wall, a butterfly did come,<\/li>\n<li>And then a crow, and then a bee, and then a growing hum.<\/li>\n<li>Just seconds pass until the cave is filled with vibrant life.<\/li>\n<li>Now flocks of butterflies fill up the space where water rifed,<\/li>\n<li>And hymns of countless flying crows are roaring through the cave,<\/li>\n<li>While swarms of sweetly smelling bees soar black and yellow waves.<\/li>\n<li>The sun sends rays of pink and red and fiery orange, too,<\/li>\n<li>Straight through the holy apertures where wing and talon flew.<\/li>\n<li>The soul ablaze with sounds and sights of nature unrestrained,<\/li>\n<li>Baptized with light from sun and moon and twinkling stars unchained.<\/li>\n<li>Where once the golden lake had stood, the dusty words had fed,<\/li>\n<li>Is filling up with welcomed sounds of shining life instead.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Listen to me read this poem:<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F341074138&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&visual=true&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&color=63029d\"><\/iframe>\n<p>Like my poetry?
