{"id":3227,"date":"2018-01-24T10:35:40","date_gmt":"2018-01-24T17:35:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/siever.ca\/kim\/?p=3227"},"modified":"2018-01-25T17:06:56","modified_gmt":"2018-01-26T00:06:56","slug":"four-trees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/siever.ca\/kim\/2018\/01\/24\/four-trees\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Trees"},"content":{"rendered":"<ol class=\"poem\">\n<li>Once there was an orchard small of four trees in a row.<\/li>\n<li>Planted by a gardener, from seedlings she did grow.<\/li>\n<li>Nurtured, pruned, and shepherded, a sight now to behold,<\/li>\n<li>Underneath their branches wide, four stories did unfold.<\/li>\n<li>Fruit upon the first was dark and light and soursweet.<\/li>\n<li>Life bestowed for years on end till children wisdom eat.<\/li>\n<li>Blossomed mind but death inside with flame and blade depart.<\/li>\n<li>Memories are buried deep, replaced by broken heart.<\/li>\n<li>Second tree bore bitter fruit, a painful, bloody red.<\/li>\n<li>Nurtured by the root of kings through weighted vine and bread.<\/li>\n<li>Gardener in garden dark donating strength to will,<\/li>\n<li>Straightening the woollen back, the harder coming still.<\/li>\n<li>Third tree bare, stripped of its leaves, its shadow growing more,<\/li>\n<li>Howling winds and lightning flash along with thunder&#8217;s roar.<\/li>\n<li>Piercing fruit falls to the ground, causing trembling quake.<\/li>\n<li>Friends and family, followers, and everyone forsake.<\/li>\n<li>Honey fruit on number four was beck\u2019ning from the page,<\/li>\n<li>Turning keys within the locks to free the prayers from cage.<\/li>\n<li>Once again, the gardener loomed, but this time all ablaze.<\/li>\n<li>With a motion of her hand, she opened heaven\u2019s rays.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/389180163&amp;color=%23ff5500&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false&amp;show_teaser=true&amp;visual=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once there was an orchard small of four trees in a row.
