A common saying in Southern Alberta is, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153If you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t like the weather, wait five minutes\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. While that may be hyperbolic, it does aptly illustrate our very volatile weather pattern.<\/p>\n<p>What this means is that we get a variety of weather; it never stays the same too long. We don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t get a lot of rain, our summers aren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t too hot, and our winters aren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t too cold.<\/p>\n<p>While we do get cold weather in winter, it doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t last more than a week or two before we get a reprieve.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, I love winter in Lethbridge. I love the hoarfrost; I love sledding in the Sugar Bowl; I love walking through the river valley on my way to work.
