Goodbye 2008

Another year’s gone by, and it’s been one of a few accomplishments for me. Here’s what I did:

Bought a Mac
Bought an iPod Touch
Started my fourth year as elders quorum president
Redesigned my website
Built a snow fort
Got our basement renovated
Attended Whoop-Up Days
Went to the Calgary Zoo
Went to the Lethbridge Corn Maze
Managed to keep 2008 a stay-in-Lethbridge year
Got back on the Board of Directors for the Allied Arts Council
Lost my dog

I live in Lethbridge with my spouse and 5 of our 6 children. I’m a writer, focusing on social issues and the occasional poem. My politics are radically left. I recently finished writing a book debunking several capitalism myths. My newest book writing project is on the labour history of Lethbridge.
